Wine has been a part of the Croatian cuisine and Mediterranean lifestyle from the Roman times. Croatia has several wine regions and island of Pag belongs to the coastal Dalmatian wine growing region. Several domestic indigenous wine varieties as well as international ones are grown on the island.

During your stay in Pag we recommend you taste them to get the feeling and a taste of the location.

Gegic wine is indigenous to the island and has seen its rebirth in the last decade. International varieties such as cabernet sauvignon and merlot are quite popular as well. There are many smaller local producers but we would like to point out to a renown winemaker and holder of many international and domestic awards – the Boskinac wines.

You can arrange a wine tasting at their winery. Read more about it here.
